Cancun Sailing Catamarans

Charter a sailing catamaran in Cancún for your group only — from an intimate 35 ft day trip to a 250-guest events catamaran. Open bar, hot buffet, snorkelling at Isla Mujeres and a full crew are included in every rate, from $1,050 USD for the entire boat.

The private difference

Why charter a sailing catamaran instead of joining a tour

A Cancún sailing catamaran chartered privately is the difference between sharing a hundred-person tour boat and having the whole vessel for your group. You choose who comes aboard, what time you leave, where you snorkel and how the day flows.

01

Just your group

The entire catamaran is yours. Family, friends, a wedding party or a company team — never strangers. The crew works exclusively for you from the moment you board.

02

Everything in the rate

Captain, mate, snorkelling guide, open bar, hot buffet, gear and music are published upfront. The only extra is the $20 USD per person dock fee.

03

Local operator, no middlemen

We own and operate catamarans out of Marina Marazul and answer on WhatsApp ourselves. Same-day answers, real flexibility, no call centre.

Common questions

Everything you need to know

Is the Cancún catamaran really 100% private?

Yes. Every charter on this site is a fully private booking. The boat, the crew and the day are entirely yours — we never combine groups. You decide the itinerary, the music and the pace.

What is included in the price of a Cancún sailing catamaran charter?

Every catamaran includes the captain, mate and snorkelling guide, open bar (rum, vodka, beer, tequila and mixers), a hot buffet served at a beach club on Isla Mujeres, snorkelling gear and a sound system. The only item charged separately is the dock fee of $20 USD per person.

Where do the catamarans depart from?

Most charters leave from Marina Marazul on Avenida Puerto Juárez, on the west side of the bay — five to ten minutes from the north Hotel Zone and Costa Mujeres resorts, and about thirty minutes by boat to Isla Mujeres. Hotel pickup can be arranged at extra cost.

How much does a sailing catamaran in Cancún cost?

A private sailing catamaran charter in Cancún starts at $1,050 USD for the 35 ft Azure (up to 14 guests) and goes up to $6,500 USD for the 63 ft Long Long Rider (up to 130 guests). Most mid-size charters for 30 to 75 guests fall between $1,500 and $3,300 USD for the entire boat, which works out to roughly $37 to $75 per guest.

How many guests can I bring?

From two guests on a private celebration up to 250 guests on our two-deck events catamaran. Tell us the group size and we will point you to the right boat.

How far in advance should I book?

For high season (December to April, July, Easter and Thanksgiving) book two to four weeks ahead, because the popular catamarans fill quickly. In low season, three to seven days is usually enough. Same-day and 24 to 48 hour charters are often possible when boats are free — message us on WhatsApp and we will check.

Where is the best snorkelling on a Cancún catamaran tour?

The best snorkelling stops are El Meco reef and the shallow reef offshore from Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres. Visibility is usually 10 to 20 metres and the water stays between 25 and 28 °C all year. Expect parrotfish, angelfish, sergeant majors and the occasional barracuda. The captain picks the calmest stop on the day.

What is the difference between a sailing catamaran and a party boat?

A shared party boat in Cancún packs 80 to 150 strangers onto a fixed schedule. A private sailing catamaran is rented for your group only: you set the departure time, the route and the music, and nobody else is on board. We only operate private charters — and we do have a two-deck party catamaran with a slide if that is the day you want.
